Therapy for the things that weigh on you

Our Washington clients come to therapy for many reasons. Leila’s areas of focus include:

  • Anxiety & stress. Worry that won’t switch off, panic, tension, and overwhelm. More on anxiety treatment.
  • Depression. Heaviness, low energy, and losing interest in things that used to matter. More on depression treatment.
  • Trauma & PTSD. Leila uses EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) along with other approaches to help clients process difficult experiences. See trauma therapy & EMDR.
  • Burnout. Common for people in demanding jobs and caregiving roles.
  • Emotional regulation and life transitions. New jobs, moves, relationship changes, and figuring out what comes next.

Sessions combine evidence-based methods, including CBT, EMDR, and somatic-based techniques, based on your needs and goals. Learn more about individual therapy.

How it works

Step 1: Connect. Book online or call. A free 10-minute discovery call is a low-pressure way to see if we’re a good fit.

Step 2: We verify your coverage. If you’re using insurance, we confirm your benefits before your first appointment.

Step 3: Log in from a private space. Sessions happen over a secure video platform. You can use a laptop, tablet, or phone.

Step 4: Keep going at your pace. You and Leila decide how often to meet and adjust as things improve.

Location requirement: Under Washington telehealth rules, you must be physically located in Washington State during every session. That matters for Vancouver, WA residents who work across the river in Portland: join from the Washington side, or let us know if you’ll be in Oregon. Leila is also able to see clients in Oregon, so we can talk through options with you.

Cost & insurance

  • Self-pay: $140–$250 per therapy session. Details on plans & pricing.
  • In-network: Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Shield of California, Carelon, Cigna, Magellan, Medicare, Optum, Oscar, Regence, and UnitedHealthcare.

Many Washington employers and individual plans go through Regence, and we’re in network. Your benefits are verified before your visit, and your cost depends on your plan’s copay, coinsurance, and deductible.

Meet your therapist

Leila Hashemi, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and major life changes. Clients describe her approach as down-to-earth and compassionate. She focuses first on building trust, then tailors care to the person in front of her.

Leila pays attention to how emotional health, physical health, and daily pressures affect each other. In sessions she helps clients make sense of past experiences, change unhelpful thought patterns, and build tools they can use between sessions. Her goal is for clients to feel more grounded, resilient, and confident.

Farsi-speaking therapy in Washington: Leila speaks English and Farsi, which is valuable for Iranian and Persian-speaking communities around Seattle and the Eastside. See Farsi-speaking therapist or meet our team.
