IPW Health sees patients in person at our office in Mission Viejo and by secure telehealth throughout California. The office is at 27201 Puerta Real, Suite 300, Mission Viejo, CA 92691, which puts it within a short drive of Laguna Niguel, Laguna Hills, Aliso Viejo, Lake Forest, Rancho Santa Margarita, Ladera Ranch, Coto de Caza, San Juan Capistrano and Dana Point.
Care is led by Shahrzad Shadmani, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C, dual board-certified in psychiatric mental health and family practice. That second certification is the reason laboratory work is ordered and interpreted here rather than referred out — thyroid, iron, B12 and metabolic testing sit alongside the psychiatric evaluation instead of waiting behind it.
Appointments run Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and Saturday, 10am to 2pm. Call (949) 259-5123.
Our comprehensive psychiatric evaluations provide a detailed understanding of your mental health concerns, symptoms, medical history, and treatment goals. This thorough assessment allows us to create a personalized treatment plan designed specifically for you.
Medication can play an important role in improving symptoms and restoring daily functioning. We provide ongoing medication management with regular follow-up appointments to monitor progress, adjust prescriptions when needed, and ensure your treatment remains safe and effective.
Our integrative approach combines evidence-based psychiatric treatment with lifestyle-focused strategies that support overall wellness. We consider factors such as nutrition, stress management, sleep, and other aspects of whole-person care to help you achieve long-term mental health.
Hormonal changes can significantly affect mood, anxiety, energy levels, and cognitive function. Our hormone and mental health support focuses on identifying hormonal influences that may contribute to emotional symptoms and creating personalized treatment strategies to improve overall well-being.

Some things are better done in the same room. First evaluations, medication reviews where the details matter, and appointments where a patient simply prefers to be seen in person are all available at the Mission Viejo office. Everything else — follow-ups, refills, therapy sessions — can happen either way, and most patients end up mixing the two.

If you are further out — anywhere in California, in fact — telehealth covers you, and the standard of the evaluation does not change with the format. We are also licensed in Oregon, Washington and Colorado.
The Saturday morning hours exist for people who cannot take time out of a working week. If taking a weekday afternoon off has been the thing stopping you from booking, that is what those hours are for.
We do not provide emergency or crisis services, inpatient care, court-ordered or forensic evaluations, formal autism diagnostic assessment, neuropsychological testing, or sleep studies. Where one of those is what you need, we will say so and refer you to someone who does it properly.
If you are in crisis or having thoughts of harming yourself, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, available 24 hours a day. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
